I’m still kind of irritated

As topteddy was sayng and I was agreeing, a lot of it is that I want to know why he thought I was a nazi? Was it how I was dressed? Was it something I did? Am I projecting this to others? What was it?

well, if it’s the same guy that I’m thinking of, he often uses that term and a lot worse. But I think maybe he felt like you were “pushing” him along. It’s much like how there is the “soup nazi” on seinfeld, the “sushi nazi” in los angeles, etc. It’s turned into a slang expression describing someone who is bossy, mean, and condescending. Maybe he felt with you, on a scooter, which is probably seen as a class about a bike, but not quite a car, trying to “push” him out of the way.

Of course, I wasn’t there. And I’m not sure if it’s the same guy who likes to hit the hood of my car whenever I try to pass him on the way to work on Soquel, but if so, don’t stress over it. He calls me the US Army or “condescending Rice” (which could be considered clever since it seems to be a play off of condoleeza and “rice” is often associated with asians).

    Yeah,

Don’t worry about it. I’d just chalk it up to those Santa Cruz weirdos we hear so much about.

You’re one of the least Nazish people I know.

If I were behind him and not across the street from him when it all started I might believe I had somehow bugged him. He had to work to get to where I was and pass me though. He just looked like an ordinary guy biking except for his nazi outburst.
